Agroecology: European partnership to support agroecological transition in agriculture
The Agroecology Partnership is a European initiative to connect and harmonize agroecological research across Europe. It aims at establishing a harmonized agroecological research infrastructure by connecting research- , policy- and administrative institutions, digital infrastructures, and living labs, and generating new and impactful data streams across Europe. Agroscope plays an integral part in developing and applying methods and indicators for monitoring the agroecological transition at farm and national/ European levels, the coordination of living labs, and the advancement of decision support tools for different stakeholders in Agri-food systems. Moreover, two research projects for Agroscope have been approved within the partnership. The Agroecology partnership is planned to be running for 10 years and involves currently 72 different partners from 26 countries.
