This dataset focuses on landscape features implemented on Swiss farms, such as hedges, field margins, and single trees, as well as the relevant aspects of their implementation. The dataset also includes sociodemographic characteristics, information sources, self-efficacy in biodiversity conservation, personal and social norms in biodiversity conservation, farmer roles, policy priorities, and the importance of income sources. The data are based on a 2023 survey of 2,000 farmers from the German- and French-speaking language regions of Switzerland. Stratified sampling was applied with regard to agricultural zone and farm type. The survey had a response rate of 44% (N = 882).
