MYCO-SUSTAIN: inoculazioni di micorrize in pieno campo per un'agricoltura sostenibile

MYCO-SUSTAIN promotes sustainable agriculture by exploring the potential of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) to improve yield, quality, resilience, and soil health in berries, grapevines, and arable crops. Through trials under controlled conditions and large-scale field experiments, the project will identify effective AMF strains and application methods adapted to Swiss conditions. It supports strategic objective from the Calls 7, 8, 13, 32 by enhancing soil functions, biodiversity, and resilience to drought. A granulated AMF product suitable for existing agricultural machinery will be tested, and impacts on agrochemical reduction, nutrient uptake, and soil microbiomes will be assessed.
