Weitere Informationen

She obtained her PhD from the University of Bologna in 2024, in a joint project with Wageningen University, where she tested the implementation of sustainability assessment tools in school meal programmes. She worked on several Horizon projects, such as H2020 FoodE and Horizon Europe FoodCoST, contributing to the development of impact assessment methods for different segments of the food supply chain. During her doctoral studies, she focused on participatory approaches to co-design sustainability metrics across the social, environmental, and nutritional dimensions of school food programmes. She co-led the regional living laboratory on school meal programmes as a technical expert, collaborating with researchers, school food professionals, and policy makers.

After her PhD, she served as a Senior Officer for School Feeding Programmes at the Milan Urban Food Policy Pact, the largest international network of cities in this field. In this role, she developed and monitored international school feeding projects and contributed to policy dossiers (e.g., WFP State of School Feeding Worldwide 2024).

She has participated in several conferences, chaired scientific sessions (e.g., EAAE 2023), and served as a speaker at international events (e.g., ASEAN Summer School, Indonesia, 2024).
