I am a biologist and work as a research assistant in the Agricultural Landscape and Biodiversity research group at Agroscope. My research focuses on agroecological topics. My focus is on promoting biodiversity and ecosystem functions through the sustainable use of natural resources in agricultural systems.
I am deputy project manager of the national biodiversity monitoring program in the agricultural landscape ALL-EMA (Arten und Lebensräume Landwirtschaft, Species and Habitats in Agriculture). This monitoring program provides a central database for assessing the status and development of biodiversity in the Swiss agricultural landscape as well as for evaluating biodiversity promotion measures, thereby supporting evidence-based decisions in research, agricultural and environmental policy, and practice.
Within the framework of ALL-EMA, I am particularly responsible for project management, data analysis and reporting, and public relations.
