Methods for Assessing Field Crop Varieties and Species

Pour répondre aux objectifs agronomiques, écologiques et économiques de l’étude variétale en grandes cultures, la méthodologie utilisée et les expérimentations réalisées doivent constamment être actualisées (pour le Catalogue National et les listes recommandées). Il s’agit notamment d’identifier des variétés tolérantes à de multiples stress (biotiques et abiotiques comme la température, sécheresse) auxquelles sont exposées les variétés des espèces de grandes cultures dans un contexte de changement climatique. Pour caractériser les variétés, de nouvelles méthodes et outils sont utilisés comme le phénotypage digital à haut débit avec divers capteurs, l’envirotypage (description fine du milieu) et la modélisation statistique et celle de la croissance des cultures.
