Project number: 26.27.13.02.02_Swiss Granum Mycotox
Annual campaign of mycotoxins analysis in Swiss cereals for feed production
Each year, Swiss granum mandates Agroscope to monitor levels of abundant types of mycotoxins in the swiss cereals destined to the feed production. Mycotoxins are dangerous chemicals made by various mould species growing on grains when the fields are sick or when storage conditions are suboptimal. Mycotoxins are harmful (cytotoxic, carcinogenic, etc) to farm animals and to humans (i.e. end consumers of animal products)
