Agroscope is mandated by ALVA (Luxembourg’s authorities in food/feed/veterinary affairs) to act as NRL for the detection of animal meal by microscopy and PCR
Also, Agroscope carries out feed quality control analyses such as antibiotic screening; colistin detection; anticoccidial screening (+corresponding quantifications if positives are found).
Agroscope actively participates in the development of new methods that are then applied at EU-level (and beyond).
