Caren Pauler studied Biology and Theology at the University of Heidelberg before she followed her passion for agriculture and science. In her doctoral thesis, she analysed the movement and foraging behaviour of different cattle breeds and their impact on pasture vegetation. Today, Caren Pauler promotes methods of side-adapted management and of sustainable weed control on mountain pastures. She loves to communicate findings of agricultural science with scientists, practitioners and all interested people.
