The internal project Geo-Wissensplattform Agroscope consists of four work packages.
Work package 1 is the core of the Geo-Wissensplattform (Geo-WP and aims at collecting data of completed GIS project, document the data and publish it according to the Open Data Policy of Agroscope.
The aim of WP 2 is to make GeoWP more visible: a Confluence space will be provided to make a data overview, instructions and best practices available.
The third work package aims at linking geometry data of experimental field plots to experimental data stored in the GENOVIX database. The long-term experiments of the project ADAPT serve as a prototype to achieve the link.
The foruth work package focuses on the maintenance and acquisition of state of the art GPS and on the support of Agroscope resarchers to correctly use the devices.
