Culture de fruits de la passion résistants au froid pour la production en Suisse
ColdPassion explores the agronomic potential of the cold-hardy passion fruit Passiflora incarnata under Swiss climatic conditions. As a resilient perennial with little cultivation history in temperate regions, it offers promising opportunities for crop diversification in response to climate change. This small spin-off from the Berry and Medicinal Plants group aligns with the call’s objective by focusing on underrepresented crops with regional value. In addition to its potential as a fruit crop, P. incarnata has known uses in herbal medicine. Through field trials, the project evaluates adaptability and yield, supporting sustainable, site-adapted production systems in Switzerland.
