Climate change and associated extreme weather events are considered to be the most important major threats facing humanity, with implications for (semi-)natural habitats, human well-being and the economy. Agricultural production is highly dependent on climate stability and therefore very sensitive to climate change. Against this background, the objectives of this project are to evaluate

1. farm types and regions that are vulnerable to climate change,
2. existing adaptation measures,
3. missing adaptation measures,
4. costs and benefits of adaptation measures,
5. farmers' willingness to adopt adaptation measures,
6. future economic impacts of (non-)adoption of adaptation measures on yield and farm income.
