Optimisation de l’efficience de la nutrition des plantes de grandes cultures

De nombreux défis de l’agriculture actuelle passent par une nutrition efficiente des plantes de grandes cultures. Notre projet vise à réduire l’utilisation des engrais de synthèse dans l’agriculture afin de limiter les impacts environnementaux tout en maintenant les rendements et la qualité de la production.

La fertilisation des cultures joue un rôle primordial pour obtenir une production agricole suffisante et de qualité. Toutefois, une fertilisation mal ajustée aux besoins des cultures conduit à des pertes de nutriments dans les eaux souterraines et de surface ainsi que dans l’atmosphère. Afin de préserver la qualité des eaux, de l’air et du climat tout en réduisant les besoins de l’agriculture en produits non-renouvelables, notre projet évaluera les effets des différentes pratiques agricoles, des différentes types d’engrais et des biostimulants sur l’efficience de la nutrition des plantes et le bilan des nutriments au niveau de la parcelle. En plus, le projet vise aussi à évaluer le potentiel de recyclage de sous-produits agricoles et industriels en engrais. Comme parti du AFP-Indicate, le projet testera de techniques de « proximal sensing » basées sur la spectroscopie V-NIR pour estimer la fertilité du sol (AFP - « Proximal sensing »).
