CATALYSE: Innovationen für Massnahmen zur Lebensmittelsicherheit
The CATALYSE project will build a network of food safety actors to support adoption of knowledge and innovative solutions along the value chain. It will foster collaboration and knowledge sharing in a model that COLLECTS and TRANSLATES practices through EDUCATION and FACILITATION. The project will bridge the gap between end users, innovators, trainers, and regulators by facilitating communication and aligning needs with solutions. Activities will set priorities, deliver training, and support SMEs. Data on innovations will be shared on an open-access platform. CATALYSE will create a community of practice connecting stakeholders across the value chain, promoting cross-fertilization of ideas. Within this framework, Agroscope contributes as the pilot model for the Community of Practice (CoP) in the Dairy and Cheese sector, bridging its national expertise with the European context. Building on its collaboration with cheesemakers and associations, Agroscope supports the CoP by providing publications, training, and thematic events, ensuring knowledge within CATALYSE benefits Swiss farmers, producers, and SMEs while bridging research and innovation in the European agro-food system.
