Santé de l’abeille et produits apicoles

L’abeille mellifère vit dans un environnement où elle est exposée à différentes maladies et à des facteurs de stress provenant de l’activité apicole, agricole mais aussi des changements de l‘environnement. Ceci a débouché ces dernières décennies sur des pertes de colonies anormales. Nous voulons définir les causes de ce phénomène et trouver des solutions pour la pratique. La sélection de l’abeille doit aussi contribuer à améliorer la santé et les performances. Nous voulons assurer une qualité irréprochable des produits de la ruche suisse en développant des méthodes d’analyse et en mettant en place un suivi pour reconnaitre précocement des problèmes de contaminations ou de fraudes. L’analyse de produits de la ruche pourrait aussi fournir des informations sur l’état de l’environnement dans lequel l’abeille.
